Head of Finance and Accounting (m/f/d) in permanent position
Your responsibilities:
- Technical and disciplinary management of the accounting and controlling departments
- Establish and enforce proper accounting policies, guidelines, and
-principles - Control of day-to-day accounting procedures, accounts receivable including the
Accounts receivable management, accounts payable and fixed asset accounting - Responsibility for the timely preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
according to HGB in cooperation with the external tax advisor - Organization of the monthly advance sales tax returns
- Management of payment transactions, including liquidity planning and monitoring
- Support of external payroll accounting
- Conception, introduction and continuous further development of a company-specific controlling system
- Responsibility for the implementation and regular execution of budget planning
- Control of the execution of variance and profitability analyses
- Derivation of corrective measures as well as preparation of decision documents
- Establishment of a monthly reporting system including a system of key figures
- Conceptual and continuous further development and improvement of the commercial
Systems, processes and instruments - Contact person for colleagues and employees (m/f/d) as well as banks and tax advisors
- Ensuring compliance with the provisions of tax and commercial law on the
Recording and retention of business records - Management support
Your profile:
- Successfully completed business studies (M./Dipl.-Kfm.) ideally with
Focus on finance, accounting, controlling - Several years of sound professional experience as a manager in the commercial sector
- Balance sheet security according to HGB as well as distinct understanding for accounting and
business processes and interrelationships - Profound know-how of modern controlling systems and instruments
- Dynamic, open-minded, strongly growth-driven personality
- Strong strategic and analytical skills with a solution-oriented and
structured working method - Entrepreneurial action and thinking with organizational and implementation strength in the
medium-sized environment
Willingness to perform, ability to work in a team and strong communication skills - Very good DATEV knowledge, confident handling of MS Office (especially Excel) as well as
Experience in the use of an ERP system - Good knowledge of German and English
