Interim Senior Project Manager/Greenfield // Automotive Industry // Germany/North America

• Greenfield Project North America
• The company has received a large customer order in the North America. A major project has now been launched to build up the necessary capacity. Currently, the VP of the business unit is also the project manager. This person is to be replaced by an experienced interim manager.

Your responsibilities:

• Project manager with responsibility for the overall project
• Project planning and definition of all activities, data and resources for the implementation of the project
• Leadership of the project staff
• Planning and control of the entire CAPEX investment
• Cost and risk management
• Stakeholder management and reporting
• Management of all detailed projects: Automation, Control CAPEX, Incentive scheme, Site Selection, Construction Project, Procurement of manufacturing equipment, …
• Project management and monitoring of the project progress and resolution of all deviations and hurdles during the project
• Ensuring the timely transfer of all processes, tools and know-how for the successful implementation of the ramp-up
• Project communication
• Coordination of all requirements with the departments (SCM, Operations, Quality, R&D, and Product Management)
• Documentation
• Preparation of all bid or tender documents (scope of work, specification, requirements for bidders…)
• Procurement of equipment and materials incl. Contract creation
• Central contact for all internal and external stakeholders
• Ensuring all legal frameworks (with the legal department).
