Mayr<\/strong>, Chairman of the Board of D\u00d6IM and Managing Director of GOiNTERIM, moderated the evening with aplomb and got straight to the point in his speech: <strong>\u201cArtificial intelligence has long since arrived in interim management. Anyone taking on projects today is increasingly confronted with AI applications. Get to grips with it &#8211; now.\u201d<\/strong><\/p><p><strong><em>What interim managers need to know today:<\/em><\/strong><\/p><p>\ud83d\udd39 In her presentation, Ruth Pauline Wachter showed that the call for \u201cAI\u201d in companies is often an expression of much deeper transformation needs. Whether digital differentiation, psychological leadership skills or specific toolsets &#8211; AI is more than just technology: it is a strategic lever for modern interim mandates. <\/p><ul><li><strong>AI has long been a reality<\/strong> in companies &#8211; interim managers need to understand <em>what customers really mean<\/em> when they want \u201cAI\u201d.<\/li><li>Successful use of AI requires <strong>strategic clarity<\/strong>, <strong>operational implementation power<\/strong> and a deep understanding of digital building blocks.<\/li><li>The call for AI is often <strong>a symptom of a deeper need for transformation<\/strong> &#8211; interim managers play a key role in this disruption.<\/li><li>If you want to survive as an interim executive, you should <strong>know and be able to use the latest AI tools<\/strong> to deliver real added value.<\/li><\/ul><p>\ud83d\udd39 Christian Florsch\u00fctz, recently named <em>Interim Manager of the Year 2025<\/em>, gave an impressive presentation on how customer service can become a company&#8217;s calling card &#8211; and how interim managers with a clear focus on processes, technology and customer benefits can turn a crisis area into a growth driver.<\/p><ul><li>Customer service is <strong>not a marginal issue<\/strong>, but a <strong>strategic lever<\/strong> for sales, customer satisfaction and sustainability.<\/li><li>With modern technology (e.g. AI, CRM, cloud), <strong>costs can be reduced<\/strong>, <strong>response times shortened<\/strong> and <strong>customer experiences massively improved<\/strong>.<\/li><li>Interim managers can turn a \u201cservice problem\u201d into an <strong>award-worthy success story<\/strong> with their expertise and process vision.<\/li><li><strong>Visibility in niches such as customer service<\/strong> is no coincidence &#8211; it is the result of targeted positioning and implementation expertise.<\/li><\/ul><p>Both presentations clearly showed that interim management is not on the fringes of these developments &#8211; but right in the middle of them.
