1. initial interview
In an initial meeting or first contact with the customer, the company situation and objectives are clarified. Here we can optimally support the process through our experience and know-how from numerous interim mandates and management tasks. After analyzing the initial situation, management solutions are structured by the GOiNTERIM partner. It is defined which management capacities can be used to achieve this goal, what the main issues are that need to be solved and which framework conditions need to be taken into account. Already in this phase a mandate manager is assigned.
What is a Mandates Manager?
We are interested in a solid and long-term relationship with our customers. The ultimate goal is the satisfaction of the customer. One of our unique selling points (USP) is the Mandate Management – abbreviated MM. For each interim mandate and project an experienced and senior partner of GOiNTERIM is provided. The task of the mandate manager is to accompany the mandate from the beginning. He is the direct contact to the customer (single point of conduct) and jointly responsible for the coordination and achievement of objectives in the entire mandate.
In the operational mandate, the mandate manager conducts constant coordination with the client and also with the interim manager. This coordination is agreed with the customer and takes place as needed (usually monthly). The mandate manager clarifies the progress in the mandate, analyzes together with the interim manager the causes for possible deviations as well as their solution and agrees on changes or additional requirements and objectives on the part of the client. This active support of the mandates significantly increases the quality of the project process and the satisfaction of the customers. At the same time, the mandate manager has the function of a sparring partner for the interim manager in action. Mandate management is a key success factor of GOiNTERIM mandates and projects. The satisfaction and customer references prove us right.
As an absolute qualitative service innovation GOiNTERIM offers a fully comprehensive company analysis by a GOiNTERIM team. A team of specialists and experts for all essential company functions and parts is assembled from managers. The team members know each other and the approach very well and thus guarantee a quick and optimal analysis of the company. You benefit from our many years of experience and well-coordinated partner teams.
As a result, you receive a comprehensive analysis report and already here the basic solution approaches. You as the customer then determine which of the solutions and measures are to be implemented and in what order. Either only one main issue is to be solved or GOiNTERIM implements all measures in a team.
2. the right interim manager
After step ONE, the company situation is analyzed and the task is defined together with the customer. Now it is clarified who is the right interim manager for the respective task – matching.
This is where GOiNTERIM clearly distinguishes itself from other interim management providers and in particular from pure recruiters and interim management providers.
First, the selection is standardized by matching the requirements determined by the customer and the track records of GOiNTERIM managers. This selection is always made according to the 4-eyes principle by two partners. This meets the high quality standards and our internal standard.
Secondly, our clients receive 2-3 suitable interim manager profiles for the task at hand within 48 hours. It is not unusual for us to have interim mandates where the interim manager was already on site the next day.
3. selection by the customer
After the customer has received 2-3 matching profiles of GOiNTERIM managers, the selection is made by the customer. The profiles are first discussed together with the mandate manager. Here, you as a customer benefit from the active partnership, we know each other, the partners have already worked together in mandates and projects and can therefore advise the customer more about the managers than is only recognizable from the profile or track record.
An interview appointment is arranged at short notice with the managers shortlisted by the customer. We consider these interviews to be very important; ideally, the mandate manager accompanies or moderates the interview. The customer is thus accompanied and optimally supported throughout the entire selection process.
4. implementation of the mandate
Speed is a criterion of interim management. GOiNTERIM proves in all interim mandates the fastest deployment and start of a suitable manager. In the past, the response time was often a few days (call on Friday, project start on Monday at the site).
All our interim managers have years of experience and have already successfully solved numerous corporate situations. Our interim managers are therefore able to take responsibility from the very first second. In contrast to permanent employment, our interim managers do not have a long training period or the need for initial training. We always staff our mandates with managers whose expertise and experience go beyond the task at hand. This enables the approach, start and implementation from scratch (“hit the ground running” according to Reijniers).
During the entire mandate, project progress, goal achievement and potential adjustments of mandate goals and/or tasks are monitored by the mandate manager. He is jointly responsible for active communication with the customer and for complete transparency about the project and the achievement of objectives. The task of GOiNTERIM does not end at the conclusion of the mandate but actually starts with it. We are always the first point of contact and pursue the customer’s goals together.
5. conclusion of the mandate
The customer and his satisfaction represent the highest goal for GOiNTERIM. A mandate or project is only and exclusively considered successfully completed when the client’s objectives have been achieved. Once the client’s objective has been achieved and the mandate/project successfully completed, a final report is prepared by the interim manager. In a debriefing or final meeting, the mandate is discussed together and the final report is handed over. This also includes the customer’s explicit confirmation of target achievement. If necessary, the handover to or the training of a successor takes place. We remain the contact for queries even after the project has been completed.
