The recording process
On the one hand, the selection process should be transparent and comprehensible for all parties involved. As an interim manager and consultant you can get a good idea about GOiNTERIM, the requirement criteria and the team or our approach. The clear recording process ensures the high quality standard of GOiNTERIM. In the context of our goals, the selection process is an important building block.
If you are convinced of GOiNTERIM and our services with high quality standards and you meet our selection criteria, please send us your application documents. For a first meeting we need the following documents:
- Cover letter
- Curriculum vitae in tabular form incl. current project list
- Details of your availability
- Daily rate
- First-class university degree with business and/or technical orientation or comparable qualification
- At least 15 years of professional experience
- of which 10 or more years in management and leadership positions at first or second management level
- or several years of experience in project management or consulting business
- or proven experience and success in a specialized field (without management experience)
- Proven success in interim management (or also project experience in a permanent position) or as a consultant
- Generalist with in-depth knowledge of all key functions of a company
- Optional expertise in one or more industries
- Quick and unerring in decisions and their implementation
- Doer and implementer mentality
- Communication skills, persuasiveness and a confident demeanor
We would like to explicitly point out that we are also happy to talk to managers who are new to interim management (without project experience). Here we can also give you initial assistance.
Your documents will be checked and audited by us in a first step. We want to make sure that your ideas and ours can be met.
Once this initial assessment is completed positively, we will invite you to an initial interview. During this initial meeting we will introduce you to our company and your benefits. In addition, we invite you to present yourself and explain your motivation. As part of this conversation, we will discuss details of previous and future tasks as standard and work together to identify strengths and opportunities for future projects.
For those applicants where the fit to our projects and customer structure is very good and the CV clearly shows the experience, we can also start the cooperation without an initial interview. A personal meeting and a detailed discussion will then take place upon briefing on a specific project.
Based on the review of the documents, the personal interviews and the assessment that has now taken place, you and we can decide to work together. This is subject to obtaining references.
If we have found each other, we ask you in a final step to send us two case studies of successful interim management mandates and two to three references by name. After final confirmation of the quality standards, you will be finally accepted as an interim manager at GOiNTERIM.

Interim Management Course
This course was developed in cooperation with DÖIM, the umbrella organization for Austrian interim management, and other experts.
The program prepares participants with the right know-how and skills optimally for the challenges and tasks of the interim manager, namely to analyze and assess companies within a limited period of time, to develop and implement innovative and customized processes and solutions, and to use appropriate tools to shape the change process.
Target group: People who want to become interim managers or update and expand their knowledge in the field of interim management – also experienced interim and project managers who want to underpin their practical knowledge with current theory and build an even more solid foundation.
