Financing companies in crisis is a particular challenge for all parties involved – companies, consultants and banks. On the one hand, everything should be done to support a restructuring and keep the damage to stakeholders to a minimum; on the other hand, there are considerable risks for precisely this reason. The 5th Graz Forum on Corporate Restructuring, which took place on Wednesday, June 10, at Schlossberg Graz, dealt with the questions of how to recognize impending insolvency at an early stage, how threatened companies can be helped and what role banks play in corporate restructuring.
