Salami tactics are a big mistake

Interim managers are supposed to act like a turbo for tasks and projects that need to be caught up, are supposed to bring new energy into the game, “like when you substitute new players in soccer when the team has to go into overtime.” This is because they have a strong operational focus and, unlike consultants, take a pragmatic approach: what they propose must be immediately implementable; simply making recommendations is not enough.
